It has been a tough year, but I am thankful for all the adventures and misadventures that 2020 has brought me. I’ve learned a fair number of lessons from the setbacks and I wish to apply them to 2021.
Can you believe that we're already through 2020? Where did the year go? I've been enjoying making a list of nice things I've discovered throughout the month. So, here's a list of things I've enjoyed this month of December.
Some days are great and there are other days. There is one trick I have learned over the years: write down at least five things you are grateful for, even the simplest ones, each day. That's it! You only need five things to rewire your brain to think that life is not so bad after all. It's just a day, not your entire life.
Do you know those days when you don’t want to use the word depressed and lonely, but you have no better words to describe them except those? Those days when you just want to pack your bags and go somewhere else? Those days when you feel like isolating yourself in your cocoon for a while? Those days when you feel like you are racing with your mind and your thoughts feel unmanageable? Those days when you just want someone to hold you and tell you that everything is going to be okay? Are you having those days too?
And now, I can only pass by all the places we have been to and reminisce about you, our good memories, and recall our conversations. I wish there was more for us. Maybe not now, but hopefully in the future. Or maybe, we could just leave it like that. So, see you when our stars align again.
I have compiled the things, movies, series, random videos, and book I have loved and been loving since June this year! I loved them so much and I hope they bring you as much as happiness, entertainment, and inspiration as they did to me.
Life is unpredictable. Life is chaos. We will cross paths and bump into something unpleasant. But such is life and that what makes life worthwhile. So follow what your heart and gut say. Cross the line you have set for yourself. Go for that crazy idea of yours. Leave your nest and spread your wings. After all, we only have one life but million doors to open.
A day in Old Dubai. During the weekend, my friend and I had decided to go beyond the busy streets and modern architecture of Dubai.
If you are a newbie in the “dating world” like me, I think dating app is a good start. To be honest, there are a lot of creepy, conceited, and contemptible men out there but dating app is "what you make it". You just have to be vigilant and smart. But of course, don’t forget to enjoy the process and don’t overthink things.
Fortnight ago, around 3 AM, I was lying on my bed. Minutes after I locked my phone and put an end to my window online shopping, turning left to right, and trying to fight my insomnia… the idea of blogging suddenly crossed my mind.
